Fun Things to do in San Diego – Fall 2021

We are excited at the prospect of welcoming our students back to campus for the Fall 2021 semester, which is just weeks away!

As a native San Diegan, I love to talk with new students about my city and offer suggestions on all the wonderful things to do and see in what has been coined as 鈥淎merica鈥檚 Finest City.鈥

Many parks and amusements have been closed due to the pandemic but have reopened with new vitality and look forward to welcoming visitors from all over the world to partake in their offerings. I am sharing just a few of those with you. *Imagine in just weeks, you can experience some of these for yourself!

  1. -come “rock and roar” every day this summer with music and other amazing entertainment experiences. There’s so much to do, see, and hear at Nighttime Zoo!
  2. -explore the country鈥檚 best urban cultural parks. Tour the grand architecture, diverse museums, captivating gardens, and more.
  3. -one of the world鈥檚 largest pop culture events goes virtual.
  4. -free live music al fresco at Seaport Village on the harbor.
  5. -discover the famed Coronado Island, marvel at the historic Hotel Del Coronado, enjoy a delicious treat at a favorite eatery, hear stories of the artists, aviators, and innovators who have made the island their home.
  6. -7 fun things to do on the Point Loma Peninsula, including a visit to the 125-year-old lighthouse, hiking trails, dockside dining at the bay, and more.

*For dates and times please visit the individual websites for each venue/event.
